Book Curator was created from a simple belief: the right book, at the right moment, can change everything—and finding those books requires taste, experience, and care.

Founded by independent bookstore owner Nicole Ihasz, Book Curator is a monthly literary curation shaped by years of handselling readers and working closely with authors and publishers.

Nicole curates with intention. She pays close attention to what’s emerging, what’s resonating, and what truly deserves a place on your shelf. She looks for books that are beautifully written, emotionally resonant, inclusive, and sometimes overlooked. Her recommendations are rooted in trust, not trends.

Over time, Nicole developed a set of reader identities that reflect the different ways she herself loves to read. These identities help guide each month’s selections, shaping a curation that recognizes mood, taste, and emotional connection—rather than one-size-fits-all recommendations.
